EMILIA ROSA DE FRIES is a german-francophone actress. After completing her state diploma in acting at Hochschule für Darstellende Kunst Stuttgart, Emilia accepted an engagement at Staatstheater Stuttgart. She had the pleasure of working with a variety of prestigious theater directors as a professional theater actress. After one year, she decided to switch to the acting company of Stadttheater Aachen, which is renowned for its interdisciplinary artistic program that offered a combination of classical acting, modern performance and music theater.

In the course of the next five years in theater company, Emilia developed her very own brand of performative acting across over thirty company productions on the big stage. In 2014, she took this style to silver screen in the film Wodka&Icecream by Kolja Malik. In 2015, she translated her artistic self-expression into a proper theater production, produced by Theater Aachen

In 2016 she decided to focus on collaborating with independent theater groups in Berlin, rather than on city theaters. In 2018 she conceptualized and implemented her own play Ophelia lanarchie and premiered it at Admiralspalast Berlin. Emilia has been involved in a variety of innovative projects in the German theater scene. In 2019 she again gravitated towards city theaters such as the Düsseldorf Schauspielhaus. Emilia lives and works in Northrhine-Westphalia and Berlin.
