EMILIA ROSA DE FRIES is a german-french speaking actress. After state diploma in acting at Hochschule für Darstellende Kunst Stuttgart, Emilia plays at Staatstheater Stuttgart. There, she works with prestigious theater directors at the beginning of her career as professional theater actress. After one year, she decides to switch to the acting company of Stadttheater Aachen, which is at that time known for its interdisciplinary artistic program between classical acting, modern performance and music theater.

During the next five years in theater company Emilia developes often in leading roles an individual perfomrative acting style in more than thirty company production on big stages. In 2014, she implements this style in her first leading role in cinematographic film Wodka&Icecream by Kolja Malik. One year after, in 2015, she defines her artistic form a language in a proper theater project, produced by Theater Aachen. 2016 she finally leaves the company to work a freelance actress with theater groups named Prinzip Gonzo and Costa Companie in the city of Berlin. In 2018 she writes her first own play, dealing with a modern Ophelia from Shakespeare who finds her own reflexion for her story. In 2019, Emilia goes back to a fixed company in Schauspielhaus Düsseldorf. In 2020, she wants to go deeper into camera acting. Emilia lives in Berlin.


From 17th November 2019 on, Emilia played the role Luise Palfy in the play Das doppelte Lottchen by Erich Kästner at Schauspielhaus Düsseldorf. After 58 shows, that production ended on 13th January 2020. From 15th May 2020 she should have played the role Ophelia in her Solo-production o.phélie l’anarchie at different playhouses in NRW and Berlin.
